7.6 We do not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected. Data will therefore be retained for the following periods (or its retention will be determined on the following bases):

7.6.1 Information obtained via opt-in forms (with added newsletter opt-in) will be retained for six months from last engagement (email open);

7.6.2 Information obtained via opt-in forms (without added newsletter opt-in) will be retained for six months from last engagement (email open);

7.6.3 Information obtained via contact forms will be retained for 12 months from last correspondence;

7.6.4 Information obtained via Cookies used for Analytics will be retained for 30 days following your last visit to Our website;

7.6.5 Information obtained via social media messaging services and apps ( for e.g; Facebook Messenger ) will be retained for 90 days following last correspondence;

7.6.5 Information obtained via Cookies used for marketing and advertising will be retained for 90 days following your last visit to Our website;

7.6.6 Information obtained under any contractual arrangement (for e.g. Clients and Customers) will be retained for 36-months from last correspondence.

8. HOW AND WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?

8.1 We only keep your personal data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 6, and/or for as long as We have your permission to keep it.

8.2 Your data will only be stored in the UK.

8.3 Data security is very important to Us, and to protect your data We have taken suitable measures to safeguard and secure data collected through Our Site.

8.4 Steps We take to secure and protect your data include:

8.4.1 Our website search engine is powered by Relevanssi. Search queries and results are logged anonymously to help us improve our website and search functionality. No user-specific data is collected by either White Wedding Co Limited or any third party

8.4.2 We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic in line with government. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit. We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

8.4.3 Our website contact forms are powered by third-party provider, Contact Form 7 and store no personal data. For more information, please see see Contact Form 7’s privacy notice.

8.4.4 We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect all direct email traffic in line with government. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit. We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

8.4.5 We use a third party provider, ActiveCampaign, to deliver our e-newsletters, content updates and offers. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. 8.4.6 Our website uses third party services including Paragon Internet Group t/a Tsohost , WPMU DEV and Advanced Custom Fields to help host, create content for, and maintain the security and performance of Our website. To deliver this service it processes the IP addresses of visitors to the Our website.

8.4.7 Our website is built on the WordPress.org framework, but also uses some plugins and services hosted at WordPress.com, which is run by Automattic Inc. WordPress requires visitors that want to post a comment to enter a name and email address. For more information about how WordPress processes data, please see Automattic’s privacy notice.

8.4.8 We use third-party services Trello, Inc. and Dropbox International Unlimited Company to manage projects and collaborate with contractors when providing services (for e.g. web design and development services).

9. DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA?

9.1 We may sometimes contract with third parties to supply products and services to you on Our behalf. These may include payment processing, delivery of goods, search engine facilities, advertising, and marketing. In some cases, the third parties may require access to some or all of your data.

We use Quickbooks for our accounts.

We use Spokes Digital for our web development contracts.

Where any of your data is required for such a purpose, We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your data will be handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights, Our obligations, and the obligations of the third party under the law.

9.2 We may compile statistics about the use of Our Site including data on traffic, usage patterns, user numbers, sales, and other information. All such data will be anonymised and will not include any personally identifying data, or any anonymised data that can be combined with other data and used to identify you. We may from time to time share such data with third parties such as prospective investors, affiliates, partners, and advertisers. Data will only be shared and used within the bounds of the law.

9.3 In certain circumstances, We may be legally required to share certain data held by Us, which may include your personal data, for example, where We are involved in legal proceedings, where We are complying with legal requirements, a court order, or a governmental authority.

10. WHAT HAPPENS IF OUR BUSINESS CHANGES HANDS?

10.1 We may, from time to time, expand or reduce Our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Our business.
